V anda Miranda spoke to Notícias ao Minuto at the pre-opening of Wells Garrett, 'Home of Beauty', in Lisbon, and began by sharing that she does not rule out skin care, despite this not having always been a practice.
"Particularly for my face. I have several morning care routines that, if you had asked me this question 20 years ago, I would have said, 'oh no, I can't be bothered, I only use a little day cream'. Nowadays, no, and I don't think it's a waste of time, on the contrary, it's a gain. It's really important that we take care of our skin", he highlighted.
"Cleansing the skin, applying a serum, day cream, sunscreen", these are some of the care she currently does not neglect. "It's self-care, it's something we are doing well for ourselves."
Having been away from the 'Manhãs da Comercial' for several years, and having continued on the M80 ever since, Vanda Miranda confided that she "doesn't miss" getting up early to go to work.
"I don't miss it because one of the things that waking up very early does, obviously, is that it always makes us look very tired. It's normal, people sleep less hours than they should, and wake up at times that are not humanly advisable [laughs]. So, despite being a few years older, I feel fresher [laughs] and with more energy than I did when I had to wake up at 5:30 in the morning" , she shared.
Still, he highlights: " I loved doing mornings. It's a very important time because we're waking people up. It plays a very important role, sometimes almost like friends in the lives of radio listeners. But I've done it for many years, I've done it for 15 years in a row. I now deserve this slightly calmer life , which gives me, in particular, more time to go to events, to have more of a social life. It's also important."
The relationship with his colleagues from the mornings at Rádio Comercial – Vasco Palmeirim, Pedro Ribeiro and Nuno Markl – remains. "Of course. In fact, we still cross paths in the hallway because Rádio Comercial and M80 are all in the same building. These are normal changes in work, but the friendships and good atmosphere remain."
During the conversation with Notícias ao Minuto , Vanda Miranda also said that this year she will embark on a trip that she has "really wanted" to do "for a long time". " I'm going to Vietnam. It's time to get to know Asia better. I'm really looking forward to it, but it's only in November. I'll still have to wait until then."
